Lamia Akbarova graduated from "Legal Regulation of Economy" faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. 

Her professional career at Ateshgah Insurance Company began since 2011. She has worked in various positions in the Claims Adjustment Department at "Ateshgah Hayat" Insurance Company. 
 
Afterwards she was appointed as Head of Claims Adjustment department for types of personal insurance at “Ateshgah Hayat” Insurance Company.

Her current position is Head of Internal Audit Service at Ateshgah Insurance Company.
